The location of the hotel was ideal - just a few minutes walk from the Minster and City centre. We were able to park up and leave the car until we were ready to leave York. The room was clean, comfortable and comparatively quiet though it was adjacent to the car park. Towels were changed daily & the shower was hot and powerful. Overall excellent value for money & we would certainly stay again.

We were met by very friendly reception staff who advised us of everything we needed to know. The dining room staff are a credit to the hotel as they were very helpful and extremely friendly, nothing was too much bother. We would certainly consider staying at this hotel when next we visit York.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, mainly due to the excellent location and the parking facilities. The hotel is always more than adequate. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is great. We will definitely stay again.

Very good value for money and we were happy with our room. The room was quite big and although we were at the front of the hotel which is on a main road it was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and could tell it was freshly cooked which is great!!! Would return and recommend to friends and clients.

The Hotel is located very close to the city walls, which makes it a good starting point. The hotel is friendly and the staff were polite. The Room was very spacious, and comfortable. Finally breakfast was quality (especially after an evening out) will defiantly visit again!!!

Now that we are home again and recovering from the festivals I must write to thank you, and all at the Minster Hotel, for giving us such an enjoyable stay over New Year. Everyone was most complimentary about the hotel and all the staff, for whom nothing seemed to be much trouble. All our dietary requirements were met and meal times moved to fit in with our busy schedule.

Have stayed here a few times now and keep going back.
The rooms are good well furnished, they do a really good English breakfast, and the staff are always very pleasant, but the real plus from our point of view is the Minster hotels location just; 5 minutes walk and you are right in the City centre and this hotel has ample car parking.
